Wrocław for weekend- attractions that will make your trip memorable
Wrocław is a beautiful city with many attractions. Tourists from all over the world come here. If you are also going to Wrocław for a weekend, it is worth planning everything. Below you will find our suggestions for spending the weekend in Wrocław actively.
ZOO and Africanarium
Wroclaw Zoo is the oldest zoo in Poland and the third largest zoo in the world. You will have the opportunity to see up close the largest number of animal species, which are located on 33 hectares.
The Africanarium is a real paradise for fans of exoticism. In a comprehensive way this facility presents different aquatic ecosystems, where you will be able to admire sharks, rays, jellyfish, penguins, crocodiles and many others.
Be sure to take a loaded camera with you and book the best one day to explore the site.
Centennial Hall and fountain show
This is a place in Wrocław where numerous cultural and sports events take place. The hall can accommodate up to 10,000 people. It was built in 1913 and is also known as the People’s Hall. In 2006 it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In front of the Centennial Hall there is a fountain. During the summer, residents come here to relax. Fountain shows last almost all day long, and we suggest to go there in the evening for a special show, where there is a much bigger show. After a whole day of sightseeing it is ideal to sit down, relax and enjoy the show.
Hydropolis is the centre of water science. The place combines educational aspects with the form of a modern museum. The darkened corridors, illuminated only by blue light, are climatic and allow visitors to feel the water climate.
We suggest to book about 2 hours to visit this object.
Sky Tower is a modern building where you can go shopping, but we suggest you go to the viewpoint. The vantage point is located on the 49th floor, at an altitude of over 200 meters including the skyscraper. It is the highest vantage point in Poland.
If, however, you do not manage to choose this vantage point and you are staying in the BatogoSpot Towers apartment (Sikorskiego Street), please contact us (tel: +48 724 319 601). We will provide a free entrance to the observation deck on the 18th floor.
Aquapark in Wrocław is open all year round. The facility has indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a sports pool, saunas and a gym. We offer to go there for 3 hours. The complex has many attractions:
